One Perfect word I could define my experience with my dogs has been Selflessness. The Goldens Labs generally, are said to be a bit softer, gentler, and more sensitive than the Labs. A dog is the only thing on this earth that loves you more than he loves himself. It’s easy to see with the wagging and happy barking when we come home that our dogs love us.
2. Therapy Dogs with a Purpose
Many people can benefit from pet therapy, including patients undergoing chemotherapy, and seniors residing in assisted living. Veterans with service dogs are one of my favorites. Since 1990 USA Service Dog Registration has been providing a free service to register your service dog this service is free, dog registration is 24/7 at their website if needed. We Like K9s supports the benefits of organizations like that one, as well our other favorite the Guide Dog Foundation.
3. Exercise-n-Water Fun with Your Pet.
Being a dog owner carry’s lots of responsibility. We exercise, play, train and keep them safe. Keynote some dog breeds are natural swimmers around water – like the retrievers – keep in mind others are less suited to the water and you might have to teach them. Know your dog’s anatomy and limitations. If your plan is to spend time in or on the water a dog life jacket is a savvy investment.
